Dedicated DA unit
We sourced a property for a Local Authority to help them manage their substance and alcohol misuse cohort.
We collaborated with the Local Authority and a well known Social Care Service Provider jointly in creating this unit. Each room was self-contained with bathroom facilities. We created an office and lounge area for the Social Care Service provider, for their team to support the service users in-house. A further training room was created to bring all the residents together.
Outside, an area was formed for planting, as well as a vertical garden for the residents to occupy their time during this period.
Many of the service users were moved into their own tenanted accommodation, with ongoing support from the social care service provider.
